The Role

Robert Half is currently working with Public sector organisation in the Reading area, who is looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator into their finance team.

Main responsibilities;

· Supporting the running of the monthly in-house payrolls.

· Ensuring all payroll documentation is processed onto the payroll system in a timely manner.

· Ensure that leavers audits are processed daily.

· Ensuring that new starters audits are processed daily.

· Handling of payroll queries for employees and direct line managers.

· Support in the completion of requests for information from Government/Statutory bodies as they arise.

· Supporting Pension administration

The successful candidate must have at least 2 years experience in a high volume transactional payroll environment which includes both weekly and monthly payrolls. Experience in using Agresso Payroll and working for a Public sector organisation would be advantagous.
