Kier Utilities is looking to recruit a Commercial Accountant, who will report to the Financial Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision and interpretation of financial and management information to support and inform the Regional Senior Management, the wider Group and Business Unit Finance function and to support in the day to day management of the business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

    Ensure integrity in the provision and completion of management reporting Completion of weekly cash forecasts and management of local working Capital i.e. WIP/Debt Completion of Quarterly rolling forecasts and Annual Plans and Forecasts for business segment Partnering with Operations and Commercial teams Preparation of monthly finance reports and analysis Balance sheet analysis for key accounts Management and development of support team including planning and objective setting, recruitment, and retention and performance management Manage the relationship with wider Group functions, including Fleet, Financial Shared Service Centre, Procurement and HR. Provision of front line support to business segment management including ensuring early warnings of deviation to forecast are provided to local and central management Supporting new contract tenders and mobilisations, establishing all financial reporting requirements
