Accountancy Elite have a fantastic opportunity for an Accountant, possessing Audit experience to join an established independent practice based in the Northamptonshire area. The firm offer their clients a professional & friendly approach, combined with vast knowledge, offering an extensive range of business, accounting & tax services. The ideal candidate must possess fantastic client interaction skills and be willing to "go the extra mile". Our client, is long established looking after a variety of clients from UK subsidiaries & private clients to a range of businesses all over the country. The ideal candidate will not only possess the required skill sets & qualifications but they will also have a real drive to grow within the company.


THE ROLE - Will include but not be limited to the following:

·Managing a portfolio of clients varying across multiple industries
·Preparation of limited company accounts, partnership accounts & sole traders
·Monitor the development of junior staff members adapting the plan as & when needed
·Communicate with directors on finished jobs as & when requested by a manager
·Oversee completion of audit & accounts jobs, assisting other members of the team if needed
·Maintain effective communication to all parties within the team when working on projects
·Attend marketing/networking events to generate new business as required by directors

SALARY - Negotiable dependant on experience

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will be self motivated, hard working, pay great attention to detail and punctual. They will have knowledge of accounting & audit rules, ability to take responsibility and communicate confidently & efficiently. They will be able to interact with staff members of all levels, keep up to date with new legislations and work under pressure to achieve deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS

·ACA / ACCA or AAT qualification
·IRIS experience of an advantage
·Excellent IT skills
·Ability to work under pressure
·Previous accountancy practice background
