Compliance Manager / Consultant

A fantastic opportunity to join an award winning firm in the hear of Liverpool as a Compliance Manager within a risk management team who handle a wide variety of claims across. The successful candidate is likely to have a background in the legal sector.

Key responsibilities for the Compliance Manager

To provide support to firms to achieve and maintain regulatory compliance, handle outsourced claims and complaints, manage a high profile caseload, the Compliance Managers tasks include:

  • Auditing policies, procedures and financial information
  • Reviewing claim files and claim data to identify how claims occur along with trends and performance issues
  • Development and implementation of systems to prevent risk occurrence and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Represent clients in disciplinary hearings

Key requirements for the Compliance Manager

  • Consultancy skills - the ability to provide advice and consultancy on risk management, regulatory advice and to professionals in the legal sector
  • Experience of risk management and SRA compliance including audits/file reviews and understanding of AML/Data Protection
  • Understanding of Authorisation Rules, ABS application process
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships easily

A bonus if you have

  • An understanding of Lexcel or LASPO compliance
