Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst for a large PLC business in Chesterfield.

The Senior Finance Analyst is responsible for providing support to both the Operations Business partnering team and Projects team. You will be a core member of the finance team supporting the Finance Managers through high calibre reporting and analysis, constantly considering improvement opportunities and having a drive for personal development.

The candidate should be technically strong, able to communicate effectively across a range of diverse audiences to deliver a clear understanding across various regional finance departments to resolve queries involving the forecast system. The candidate will also have the ability to bring about real change in focused areas using strict project management techniques to ensure swift completion of key improvement projects.

Duties will include:-

*Monthly tracking of Finance Strategy activities - including the control & support of defining new processes to fall into the wider finance strategy.
*Coordination of the controlling team's strategy activities including tracking of key actions. Including key support for the Controlling team with their outsourcing partner.
*Actively collaborate with peers and liaise with multiple business P&L owners to drive both Finance and Business process efficiencies. Includes the use of digital technologies to drive the digital strategy within finance.
*Any other ad-hoc project, analysis or diagnostic leading to any improvement project or business critical project.
*Drive resolution of data integrity issues surrounding reporting to drive optimisation and simplification of reporting actual business performance including key areas such as forecasting (MLO & Budget).
*Champion of the MLO/Budget system for the Operations team responsible for the data quality of forecast calculations. Includes preparation of presentations from these processes used by Finance and the Business.
*Mapping of key finance processes to drive best practice and process harmonisation across the function.

Elevation Accountancy & Finance would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:

*Degree and a strong, proven accounting background (CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified) with first time passed preferred
*Previous experience in a commercial, business facing role is essential
*Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with both financial and less-financial audiences of all levels of a multi-national organisation
*High degree of orientation towards automation, technical innovation for process improvements
*Project management skills : Minimum Six Sigma Green Belt or similar project management background or proven track record with managing key projects
*Good knowledge of SAP would be highly desirable
