Senior Financial Accountant

Our Basingstoke based client is a Blue Chip global enterprise, currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant to oversee the accounting and general finances of the companies International subsidiaries. Reporting to the Chief accountant, the role will also involve the management of an outsource provider.

Key areas of responsibility:

*Management of the Outsource provider for all International entities;
*Ensuring tax and statutory compliance across International entities;
*Ensuring the delivery of accurate numbers across all international entities in line with the month end reporting timetable;
*Defining and driving an efficiency and improvement programme across the entities to ensure compliance obligations are met in the most effective way;
*Maximising efficiency across banking systems, ensuring robust controls and efficient process;
*Leading the Finance participation in the set up of new entities.

Candidates will be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven strong technical ability, and experienced in managing a multi-entity close within an international environment. Excellent communication skills will be essential in this role, alongside strong leadership and managerial skills.
