Management Accountant (6-9 month FTC)

Our client, a substantial international organisation located on the outskirts of Southampton, Hampshire, is recruiting for a driven Management Accountant to cover maternity leave. The role will be a combination of management and financial accounting and will report to the Financial Controller. Duties will include, but not be limited to;

*Supporting monthly close of head office investment/holding companies
*FX exposure analysis
*Tracking group wide internal audit findings
*Chasing progress on clearing internal audit findings
*Analysis and reviewing of audit findings with other UK sites (some travel included)
*Analysis of group and business results
*Checking year end group financial statements
*Ad hoc projects where required

Suitable applicants will ideally be fully qualified or part qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with a strong accountancy grounding, particularly around financial and management reporting. Whilst development and training will be offered, applicants must be keen to learn and need to offer a high level of Excel proficiency.
