Description

This Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst role will include the following 'on paper' duties

*To support Finance Business Partners, business managers and leaders by providing standardised financial analysis and key performance metrics.

*Working with the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis (Based in Scotland) to develop a standard suite of reports across the UK business (standardising and cross fertilising best practice amongst the current framework)

*Providing the other regional Financial Business Partners and wider commercial team insightful and impactful daily, weekly and monthly information to help drive business improvements

*Help lay out and implement a new consistent and standard operating model for the business, identifying, designing and implementing KPIs to support this

*Ensure effective use of IT systems, in line with the relevant Company policies and procedures

*Building good relationships both internally and externally to ensure the desired levels of stakeholder service are met

*Service delivery of all reporting and management information requirements to timetable and in accordance with accepted accounting practices.

Build relationships with teams throughout the business, maintaining positive relationships to provide effective customer service and provide support to colleagues as necessary.

Profile

To be successful for this FP&A Analyst role you will need the following;

*You must be highly analytical and business minded, confidence to analyse the data and interpret performances is key for this role!

*You must be CIMA or ACCA later stages of study with a good educational background

*Able to travel on occasion including overnight stay (approx. 1-2 occasions per month)

*Able to effectively drive change and improvements

*Must be highly numerical

*Experience working in a commercial multi-location finance function would be highly desirable (Retail or Manufacturing could fit this role extremely well)

*Business partnering skills are essential

*Excellent excel and accountancy system skills (Cognos preferable)
