Position: Payroll Administrator

Salary: £20,000 plus an exciting company benefit package with study support

Location: Bury - Manchester

Hours: 37.5 hours a week

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody with strong administration skills to join a dynamic and forward thinking company. As a Payroll Administrator you will be responsible for managing your own workload and will be required to meet monthly deadlines in processing your clients' payroll. You will be provided with full software trainingand will be given full support in order to become a successful Payroll Administrator


  • Working to make sure all employees are accurately paid following payroll procedures
  • Reviewing payroll reports and issuing the relevant data to departments as required
  • Running end of year payroll reporting including the issuing of P60's and P11d's
  • Managing statutory sick pay (SSP)
  • Processing the monthly headcount report and contributing to annual management plan
  • Processing all personal changes
  • Putting together worked hours' report & maintaining employee data on HR system
  • Update and maintain employee data on the system
  • Provide management and statistical information as required
  • Contributing to the annual salary review process by actioning salary increases
  • Setting up new employees on to the Payroll Systems
  • Payroll reconciliations
  • Administration of employee benefits scheme
  • Maintaining the Payroll filing


  • Office, administration or payroll experience
  • Payroll experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good team player with positive 'can do' attitude
  • Quick learner and have the ability to work under pressure to meet Payroll deadlines
  • Problem solving skills
