Job description
Role and responsibilities
- Performs general or cost accounting activities requiring some insight and depth of understanding
- Applies accounting techniques and standard practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions
- Prepares journal entries, verifies and supports entries
- Carries out well-defined steps in cost accounting analysis
- Drafts segments of statements and reports
- Work is generally reviewed at completion for accuracy and soundness
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- 2 years of experience with software applications and accounting systems
- Knowledge of Accounting standards and principles, including month end closing processes
- Fluent in English
- Be committed and proactive, Have a strong sense of collaboration, Able to make decisions and learn from every situation
