My client, a well established niche manufacturer in Radcliffe, is looking to recuit for a commercially minded Financial Controller to control of all aspects of financial management, including month end and year end reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. My client is well established, having been trading for upwards of 40 years, with turnover topping £10m
My client is seeking somebody who is willing to get involved with the finances at all levels, from reporting into the directors to manually processing invoices where required. Overall duties are to include:

My client is ideally looking to pay around the £40,000 mark, however for the ideal candidate my client could stretch to £45,000

- Producing monthly management accounts
- Producing meaningful commentary and analysis of financial data
- Month and year end procedures
- Financial planning and management of projects
- Planning and analysing departmental budgets
- Cash flow forecasting
- Overseeing internal financial controls
- Foreign currency transactions and planning
- Stock management Product costing
- Nominal reconciliations
- Maintaining fixed asset register
- VAT returns
- Overseeing payroll
The ideal candidate will be:
- From a Manufacturing background
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified, however QBE would be considered.
- Commercially minded, and confident enough to contribute to decisions regarding financial strategy and challenge management on financial matters.
My client is ideally looking to pay around the £40,000 mark, however for the ideal candidate my client could stretch to £45,000
