12 month fixed term contract for a qualified Accountant to join an evolving business in Swindon.
Your new company
You will be joining a growing business in Swindon, which is currently undertaking a number of projects within the finance team. Due to these projects they are looking for a qualified Accountant to join them in a 'business as usual' capacity for a 12 month period.
Your new role
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Month-end close including balance sheet reconciliations
- Financial Controls Account
- Banking and cash management
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Calculation of depreciations for month-end reporting
- Support with the budget and forecasting process
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified with accounting and treasury experience. You will ideally be immediately available to start or on a short notice period although individuals on one month will be considered. Ideally you'll have experience using SAP or another ERP system. You will need intermediate Microsoft Excel skills to include pivot tables and lookups.
What you'll get in return
You'll earn up to £40,000 per annum plus a retention bonus should you stay throughout the length of the assignment. You will have 25 days annual leave per year plus a number of additional benefits.
