In this temporary Accounts Assistant role there is particular emphasis on the sales ledger and credit control, including the collection and processing of receipts and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations (including bank) assistance with month end and production of reports, preparation of cash forecast.You will also be responsible for assisting with month end, the production of reports, journal posting and preparation of cash forecasts.
The successful temporary Accounts Assistant will be an experienced transactional finance professional who is immediately available and can demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in previous roles. Experience of sales ledger processing and basic debt chasing is critical and highly desirable. It is therefore essential that you are comfortable solving queries on the phone and working independently to solve invoicing and collection problems with minimal guidance in a busy and demanding environment.
Our client is a growing UK based business within the consultancy sector with its headquarters based in modern offices near Basingstoke. You will be part of a compact finance team of five people so being a team player is essential. There is ample parking available and the nearest train station is a mere ten minute walk away.

This temporary Accounts Assistant role will pay £13.00 per hour plus holiday pay, parking is provided.
