Our client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their busy team, working alongside the Financial Controller.

The main emphasis will be on Purchase Ledger, tasks include:

Processing of invoices and credit notes, identifying and resolving queries, reconciling supplier statements, reconciliation of suppliers accounts, making payment to suppliers , petty cash and reconciliation thereof, weekly payroll plus dealing with general admin within the Finance Department.

Experience using Sage Line 100 and Sage Payroll is preferable but not essential. Our client will soon be upgrading to Sage Line 200.

The skills required to fulfil this role are:

- Very good administration skills and attention to detail
- Accurate numerical skills
- Good team player with the ability to work on own initiative
- Flexible approach to work with a positive attitude
- Good communication skills

This is a part-time position working 3 days per week. The successful candidate would, however, need to be flexible and cover for when the Financial Controller is on holiday. Salary negotiable.
