Job role

The temporary division of Robert Half is recruiting for an experienced Payroller for our client in Northampton.

This role will be temporary for 3-6 months will a possibility of converting into a permanent position. My client is a well established and growing local organisation with a reputable brand name.

Main duties include:

  • Running manual payroll for 200 employees you will have sole responsibility of the payroll
  • Weekly and monthly payroll
  • Manual calculations for SSP, SMP, SPP, P11Ds
  • Weekly reconciliations
  • Inputting staff hours
  • Liaising with site managers to ensure sign off
  • Dealing with payment runs
  • Dealing with staff quires


  • Must have experience of running manual payroll/ manual adjustments
  • Able to review payslips and know if they are right or wrong
  • Able to deal with employee quires
  • Accurate
  • Pay attention to detail
  • Hard working
