Accountants

We are now recruiting Accountants to work within our Finance department, based at our new Police Headquarters in Northallerton.

Our current vacancies are for two permanent positions on a full time basis.

Accountants will assist in the delivery of departmental objectives, whilst managing any risk associated with them. Other responsibilities include providing specialist advice and support to colleagues across the organisation, contribution to the timely delivery of statutory statements of accounts and providing financial analysis of capital and revenue programmes.

You will have excellent communication skills, with a proven track record of delivering improvements in financial and business processes. Previous experience of interpreting complex changing environments and aligning financial resources to meet organisational requirements is essential.

You must be actively or intending to study for a CCAB qualification, or have equivalent experience.
