Commercial Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity to join a nationwide brand; as the leading home improvement company in the UK, who has built their well-established brand for over 50 years with the manufacture, supply and installation of their products to over a million customers throughout the nation.

We are currently looking to recruit a Commercial Analyst to support the Commercial Controller in matters of financial reporting primarily for the South and London North Divisions.

Duties to include –

• Ad hoc analysis via excel as directed but principally analysing areas of working capital - stock and debtors cost trends

• Credit Card reconciliations and Monthly reconciliation of credit card statements and general ledger coding

• Assist with the preparation of the Group Board report for the two divisions along with forecast and budgeting

• Promote a better understanding of the business at divisional & regional level through timely & incisive financial analysis

• Assist in monthly management accounts process as directed by Head of FP&A

• Liaising with various departments (Regional & Head Office) on any Sales Force pay related issues

• Undertake ad hoc analysis on cost trends and stock/debtors

The candidates we are looking for will have experience of working in either the commercial or financial sector with a strong demonstrable understanding of financial reporting.
