The Business

My client is an award-winning name in the construction industry with operations all over the UK. The business has a varied portfolio of projects with major branded clients and large scale residential developments.

The Role

Reporting into the Financial Controller you will lead a junior finance team in supporting the wider business with insightful analysis.

You will also liaise with operational heads and QS teams regularly to assist in providing accurate information to the board.

The business also has a systems project for you to lead with most of the foundation work already completed.

Aside from this you will be ask to produce cashflow forecasts, monthly and quarterly reporting and balance sheet analysis along with other common elements of a rounded Financial Controller role in a growing construction business.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified with recent experience similar role.

Ideally you will have a background in the construction industry or have experience in a sizeable business involved in large scale CAPEX or engineering projects.

It is essential that you are a progressive individual; confident in spotting improvement opportunities and communicating your plans to senior management.
