Job role

Payroll/Accounts Assistant for the control & maintenance of payroll records, collection & processing of routine wages data, ensuring payments are calculated, authorised & executed appropriately and the distribution of payslips.

As the Payroll/Accounts Assistant you will also be doing the preparation of journals to ensure pay runs are properly accounted for in the general ledger and routine reconciliations including monthly & annually. You will be the prime point of contact for all payroll queries & liaison and will support the Financial Controller in the production of the monthly management accounts.

The successful candidate will have payroll and accounts experience and you will be available immediately for this temporary opportunity which is covering maternity leave. Car parking is on site and working hours are 9am-5pm.
