Accounts Senior or Semi Senior (Practice Accounts)

This long established firm of highly respected accountants is based in the historic town centre of Hertford. This means you will be working close to shops, banks, cafes and so on and of course close to a bus station and two train stations making it ideal for public transport and car access. You will be joining a fantastic firm with excellent clients and the opportunity to develop within this growing company.

For this role you will have recent practice experience and be either a qualified ACA/ACCA accountant, part qualified or qualified by experience accountant (QBE).

Ideally you will have knowledge of IRIS and Sage although any computerised accounts would be fine. You should also be able to demonstrate strong technical skills, to think outside the box and project a professional image to clients. This role will need someone with excellent communication skills in order to make the client feel comfortable and you will have strong attention to detail.

The role:

Some of your responsibilities will include

•Accounts preparation for limited companies, LLP’s, partnerships and sole traders to end of completion.
•Preparation of tax computations and returns;
•Preparation and review of management accounts.
