FP&A Analyst

We are currently recruiting for an FP&A Analyst for our client - a highly regarded, leading manufacturer based in the Merseyside area. Operating in an autonomous role you will be responsible for supported the business through the use of effective and routine financial analysis and reporting ensuring effective operational activity and financial decision making. Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the FP&A team in the generation, analysis and reporting of budgets and forecasts
• Assisting with the delivery of the P&L each period and providing appropriate supporting analysis
• Preparing and/or consolidating the Board pack content & Group reporting requirements at period end
• Producing accurate and concise financial reports based on business requirements
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in reporting and budgeting/forecasting
• Collating, analysing and challenging overhead spend

Applicants will be partly or fully CIMA/ACCA qualified or equivalent and have extensive experience in a similar role. Applicants will be required to have strong analytical skills along with the ability to work with complex information to identify trends and patterns, so you will possess strong MS Excel skills.
