Accounts and Audit job in High Wycombe for a qualified ACCA or ACA accountant working in a public practice accountancy firm. A fantastic opportunity to join a top 20 Accountancy practice well known for their career progression opportunities.
Our client is a nationally recognised accountancy practice with a reputation for providing exceptional client service across a wide range of sectors including manufacturing, landed estates, charities, IT operations, media and entertainment. Due to recent growth, they are interested in strengthening their team by appointing a new Audit and Accounts Senior at their High Wycombe office.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an accountant with a great depth of technical knowledge from a mixed background of both audit and accounts experience. The successful applicant will offer a real commercial edge to a fast-growing office.
This is a broad role where responsibilities can include:
• Running group audits
• Maintaining and enhancing client relationships
• Preparation of accounts, to include consolidations and cashflow statements
• Preparation of financial forecast models, business plans, due diligence and other ad hoc projects
• Liaising with internal departments e.g. Taxation as and when required.
• Liaising with Partners
• Supervising and managing junior staff
As the successful Audit and Accounts Senior you will have a strong academic record and be a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with experience working across the full spectrum of accounts and audit services. Experience of working with clients from a wide variety of sectors is preferable and experience in charity accounting and expertise in the preparation of consolidated group accounts would be advantageous.
You will have a passion for ensuring the highest quality of client management, be able to work cooperatively and motivate others to succeed and be a positive role model for the firm. Previous experience of Caseware, Viztopia, and Alphatax is preferred but not essential.
Salary will be between £35k and £50k dependant on experience.
