Main Purpose of the Role
The IFRS Accountant will play a key role in supporting Truphone as they transition from FRS 102 to IFRS. Following transition, the Group Accountant will oversee the processes and controls implemented at transition and integrate into the wider group reporting process.

The IFRS Accountant will play a key role in supporting Truphone as they transition from FRS 102 to IFRS. Following transition, the Group Accountant will oversee the processes and controls implemented at transition and integrate into the wider group reporting process.

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in understanding the transition impact on Truphone's financials.
- Recalculation of balance sheet positions impacted by first-time adoption of IFRS 9, 15 and 16.
- Assistance in understanding new disclosure requirements under IFRS and preparing supporting schedules to support new disclosures.
- Preparation of technical accounting notes.
- Review and maintenance of financial controls.
- Involvement in management and statutory reporting.
- Assisting the finance control function on ad-hoc financial reporting matters.
Skills and Experience Required:
- ACA qualified.
- Prior experience of an IFRS conversion, either within practice (big4 preferable) or in a technical role within industry.
- Exceptional knowledge of IFRS, including IFRS 1, 9, 15 and 16.
- High attention to detail and ability to create clear schedules, which are easily understandable and suitable for external audit.
- Strong excel skills.
- Highly organised, and deadline orientated.
