My client a leading family run business based on the outskirts of Hereford is currently recruiting for an Accounts assistant on a Temporary basis. This is a full time Temporary position paying between £10-12 Per hour depending on experience. This organisation is accessible from Monmouth, Hereford, Ross-on-wye and Abergavenny.


Your new role

This is a newly created position that has developed in order to help support the Finance team due to company growth. The purpose of this role will be to ensure the smooth running of the day to day accounting duties including assisting with the preparation and the production of the monthly management accounts.

You main responsibilities will include; overseeing the purchase ledger and sales ledger, Credit Control, bank reconciliation, payroll processing, preparing journal entry, assisting with inputting pre-payments and providing support to the Finance Director.


What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will have experience working within a similar role. It is essential that you have the ability to use your own initiative and have strong attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be a highly efficient person with Intermediate Excel skills as a preference - ideally knowledge of pivot and V-look up tables.
