The role forms part of a fast-track, finance talent planning scheme that aims to rotate candidates every 12-24 months through FP&A, Commercial, Financial, Tax and Treasury teams to build rounded, modern finance professionals.

Key Duties:
-Act as the senior business partner with operational Director and any direct reports
-Produce and enhance period management accounts (revenue and capex), analysis and commentary (3-5 days in the period) and present to Manager and Head of Finance
-Produce, enhance and review weekly & periodic KPIs, ensure they are insightful and issue in agreed timelines
-Lead & develop process and produce the Annual Budget and Quarterly Forecasts and present to Senior Management in Finance and Operations
-Support the evaluation of the potential of new capital and revenue related projects and enhance processes to monitor the performance of existing initiatives
-Maintain and enhance financial controls ensuring accuracy and robustness of reporting and budgeting processes
-Support ad hoc requests for analysis and information from Manager, Head of Finance, Directors and their direct reports
-Provide support to and build effective relationships with key operational customers listed above
-Preparation of information for external reporting
-Manage and develop 1 to 2 graduate analysts in team
-Must demonstrate a strong commercial understanding of the business, which is reflected in the reports, analysis and commentaries, provided and assist the Head of Finance in managing the overall business

The Candidate:
We are seeking a candidate of the highest calibre with an outstanding record of academic and professional achievement to date. To be considered you will ideally have a 2:1 or better from a Top University, strong A Levels (A*- B grade) and c2- 3years' post qualified experience (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) in a leading commercial (ideally Blue-Chip) organisation. Candidates with FMCG or Retail experience are highly desirable.

You will be a first class communicator verbally and have excellent written skills. You will have the confidence to challenge and interact with key stakeholders up to Director Level across the business, both with Finance and Non-Finance staff up to Director Level. Candidates must have an excellent basic level of Excel skills including vlookups, pivot tables and formulas. You will be ambitious, driven and motivated and see yourself as a future Senior Manager/Director. You will be self-aware with knowledge of your development areas as well as being able to promote your strengths and skills.
