We are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst initially on a 6-month contract to join our finance team at our Leeds head office. We have some ambitious growth plans and the finance team are at the centre of enabling the business to grow sustainably. In this role you will drive effective Financial planning, insightful management reporting and profit improvements over an annual cycle for one or more departments/ cost lines in the business.

What You'll Do:
  • Supporting the month-end accounting processes for your area to ensure accurate reporting of financial performance.
  • Delivering comprehensive and insightful weekly / monthly financial reporting to support the strategic and tactical objectives of the areas you partner, highlighting risks or opportunities accordingly
  • Supporting annual budgets for your area including 6+6 reforecast (or more)
  • Building and maintaining close working relations with key stakeholders to support and challenge financial performance in your area and beyond
  • Supporting stakeholders by providing accurate analysis and assessment of business cases and strategic opportunities to support decision making
  • Support the culture of continuous improvement in the Finance department and encouraging innovative ways of working across


The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, intelligent, ambitious team player with strong communication skills who will recognise the opportunities presented by a growing business. Its is important you have a numerate and analytical background with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills. You will have excellent understanding of budgetary control, profit & loss accounts and financial reporting.

Essential skills required:
  • Strong IT skills and knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Word etc.
