Established for over 50 years, this family-run manufacturing company is looking for a self-assured bookkeeper to run the accounts function.

This role is suitable for someone who wants to go into work and utilise their skillset but then be rewarded for their hard work with a fantastic benefits package.

The two company directors operate an open-door policy and will allow for flexible working hours as for them, a healthy / work life balance is top priority.

You will enjoy sole responsibility for managing the accounts up to Trial Balance with the assistance of the external accountant who lives local and will be there for support you need.

Other key areas of responsibilities will include:

-Month-end accruals, prepayments and journal postings
-Quarterly VAT returns
-Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
-Monthly payroll on Sage

Acknowledged as a pivot role for the business, guaranteed incentives include:

-25 days' holiday and two week Christmas shutdown
