Finance Assistant

An excellent Finance Assistant & Payroll opportunity working for a local, leading consumer goods business.

Your new company
You will be working for a long established and market leading sales and service company with an exceptional reputation in the market. You will be joining at a very exciting time for the company, as they look to increase their market share further and aim to break into new and differing markets within their sector.

Your new role
You will be working as a Payroll & Finance Assistant, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. You will be solely responsible for the entire payroll process for approximately 200 staff, as well as maintain the asset register, looking at costings, creating management reports, budgeting, forecasting and providing support for the Financial Controller where required.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a similar role will ultimately lead to your success. You will have strong experience across the entire payroll function, and be proficient in all the necessary processes. You will also have proven yourself to have strong experience working as a finance assistant, and be capable of taking on new areas within the accounts. You will be comfortable working in a deadline focused environment, and be able to work within a team or autonomously where needed. You will also have strong excel skills, and an excellent eye for detail.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a basic salary of £20,000-£25,000 dependant on experience, as well as 25 days holiday plus statutory days. You will be provided with a workplace pension, as well as a healthcare scheme provided by the business.
