Finance Manager - Royston - 12 Month Term Contract
£35-£42K + Excellent Benefits

We currently have a excellent opportunity for a qualified or qualified by experience Finance Manager to join this World leading services organisation initially on a 12 Months Fixed Term Contract basis with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate. We are seeking immediately available or candidates on 1-2 weeks notice.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing month end close, ensuring all general ledger activities including fixed assets, accruals, prepayments and inter-company processes are timely and accurately performed
- Preparing monthly reporting packs with analysis and commentary for each entity under UK GAAP
- Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
- Managing the preparation of the statutory accounts
- Ensuring timely and accurate completion of VAT and local sales tax returns
- Preparing information packs for the external audit and managing the audit process

The successful candidate will ideally be immediately available, have recent experience in a similar role and have advanced Excel skills. You will be part / fully qualified or qualified by experience and have sound knowledge of UK GAAP. You will have strong communication skills and high attention to detail. You will be able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
