Grafton Banks Finance is working with a large business to recruit for an interim Financial Accounting Manager to cover maternity leave. This role is a 12 month contract position that will suit a qualified financial accounting professional who has strong statutory accounting experience.

The role is to manage the Finance team who are responsible for maintenance of the general ledger, variance analysis, balance sheet reporting, reconciliation and controls, monitoring of systems and processes, and relationship management with the FP&A team. The role is responsible for the running of the annual audit and statutory account production for all entities in the UK and across the World.

To be considered for this role you must be a qualified accountant, ideally ACA or ACCA, who possesses a strong background in financial control and who has strong statutory accounting experience. You will have worked in medium to large businesses and will be experienced managing teams. You must be available to start work at short notice. The clients preference is to take someone on a fixed term contract for 12 months however for the right candidate they would consider a daily rate.
