As a “Tax and Technical Support Advisor” you will be required to provide technical advice to IFA’s with regard to financial based solutions for clients. Most of these solutions will be in relation to inheritance tax mitigation, however due to the diversity of their client base you could be involved in investment and tax planning issues for trusts, wealthy families, corporations and charities.

The main purpose of this role will be to provide technical, marketing and general support in relations to the products and services offered by Tax & Technical Support. This will be predominantly to members of the organisation and will be provided either face to face, via telephone, by email or written communications. You will play a key role and contribute towards the development and implementation of products and services within both Tax & Technical Support and other teams within Business Development.

The successful candidate will Diploma qualified and hold G10 (Advanced paper in Taxation & Trust), passionate about financial services and will personally wish continue to develop expertise and knowledge in the fields of taxation, trusts and financial services as a whole, together with products and services offered by other providers in the market. You will also participate in the development and maintenance of Tax & Technical Support literature designed to support client acquisition and product sales (including the Intranet), as well as contribute to the production and delivery of monthly communications to the organisation incorporating topical press articles, case studies and fact sheets.

The main job functions will be to participate in the operation of the Tax & Technical Support helpdesk, as well as responding to emails, faxes, memos and letters in a timely fashion and within agreed timescales. On occasion you may be required to attend face to face meetings alongside the IFA’s with key clients and deliver presentations at sales locations in conjunction with other members of the team.
