Our client is currently looking for a Bookkeeper / Personal Assistant to join their team providing administrative support and assistance to the Managing Director. The successful candidate will also ensure financial records are fully maintained and updated ready for audit purpose.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Sales Ledger – Posting customer invoices, posting customer receipts and reconciling sales ledger on a monthly basis
• Purchase Ledger – Posting purchase invoices, issuing payments to suppliers and reconciling purchase ledger on a monthly basis
• Banking – Posting transactions and monthly bank reconciliations
• Credit Cards and Petty Cash– Collating of monthly credit card and petty cash receipts and posting to Sage
• VAT Returns – Dealing with quarterly VAT returns ensuring VAT rates are applied correctly, and reconciling and submitting VAT returns
• Completing both weekly and monthly payroll
• Maintain accurate CIS schedules
• Other duties include dealing with supplier queries, filing, answering telephone calls and other administrative duties as required
• Negotiate and maintain all relevant company insurances
• Maintain and oversee property management records
• Provide effective executive PA support, including diary management and proactive/reactive admin support

Candidate Requirements:
• Extensive knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts Plus
• Great attention to detail, be computer literate with strong numerical skills
• Organised with a methodical approach to record keeping
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
