Your new role
You will have a interesting a varied role with in finance. Key duties will include:
Managing expenses - checking over the team's expenses and highlighting any errors/showing
people where they have gone wrong and how they should be doing expenses going forwards.
Managing the expenses and receipts of the 6 company Directors - assigning them in FreeAgent
each week - and going through the main bank account to assign any direct debit/BACs transfer
payments.
VAT management - filing, managing and paying the Quarterly VAT return for both Films.
Managing the company FreeAgent account (making sure everything links up correctly etc.)
- making sure everything is correctly recorded, ensuring invoices are paid to us on time and
transferring VAT from invoices paid to us to the company VAT account.
Heading up a weekly payment run day & making sure we are paying invoices on time.

Generate reports on the business financially - where we are making and losing money among
other things. This includes taking part in discussions on budgets & pricing and taking an in-depth
look at how different areas of the business are performing financially.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be well-organised and thorough - a major part of this role is to organise and maintain their financial records, handling a lot of information, receipts and other data, so you need to be capable of
keeping on top of everything.

A perfectionist - They would love someone who shares the same ethos as the rest of their team when
it comes to doing their job - going above and beyond to deliver the very best.

A team-player - you will be required to show the team how best to handle expenses and other
financial elements of the business, so you need to be good at communicating with others. You will
also need to present regular reports on the business' finances, so you need to be comfortable
with this.

Proficiency with Excel - this is how most of the data gathering and analysis happens.
