They oversee the delivery of key projects in our stores across the UK, and now we're looking to recruit a talented retail loss & cost investigator to join the team, and help drive improvements in our loss management processes. Reporting to the retail costs manager, you'll work with internal business partners across the food business to design& implement procedures to reduce loss across the food business. We'll look for you to make sure our colleagues, whether that's a store manager, regional manager or a colleague in our support centre, always thinks about the retail loss agenda. With proper planning and support, it's an agenda that saves our business millions every year. You'll have opportunity to present the strategy to various people across the retail business and gain valuable experience improving commercial results and working in a support centre environment.

What you'll do:

  • support the retail cost manager with the design of loss strategy
  • improve loss performance across the food business
  • interact with various internal colleagues to help implement the retail loss agenda
  • support retail management to understand the importance of loss management
  • be a subject matter expert in loss performance
  • present the loss strategy to senior leadership and internal colleagues

To get going quickly in this role you'll need recent retail operations experience and have the ability and confidence to present to large audiences. To help support our retail colleagues, you'll be able to easily influence and engage others to understand the benefits of the loss agenda. We'd also look for you to show us how you've designed and led training material, whilst also being experienced within previous leadership roles. To allow your presentations to run as smoothly as possible, you'll have great Microsoft skills, including PowerPoint and Excel. Ideally, we'd prefer you to have a loss prevention background and have experience influencing senior business partners, but these aren't essential.

  • you have excellent presentation and communication skills
  • you're able to present to large audiences
  • you can influence and engage others
  • you're experienced within previous leadership roles
  • you've got great Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • you've ideally got experience within loss prevention and influencing senior colleagues
