CMA Recruitment Group is working with a large organisation based in Southampton to recruit a Management Accountant to join them on a temporary basis for 3-6 months.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Develop robust and insightful overheads reporting including an increased focus on analysis and overspend;
*Develop strong relationships to drive understanding of financials and identify cost saving;
*Working with business partners, prepare detailed monthly forecasts;
*Assist managers in understanding their reported financial results and forecasts to enable them to better understand their activities and costs;
*To contribute effectively to the monthly forecasting and annual budget processes;
*To ensure the timely production and review of balance sheet reconciliations and journals;
*To assist the Financial Reporting Manager to drive change in business processes and practices.
The ideal candidate would be qualified with a background in reporting management information. Any prior experience of business partnering and working with non-finance stakeholders would also be highly sought after.
