The Opportunity

Due to an internal promotion, this position is available for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant. Senior experience is needed to guide the team to maintain the gusto at which this team thrives on. This is an opportunity to contribute ideas regularly to the ongoing growth of this reputable organisation. Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will be managing the day to day operational requirements of the finance function, including mentoring of Financial Accountants and Assistant Accountants. A key part of your role will be to identify opportunities for process improvement.

About You

The ideal candidate will be an experienced senior accountant with extensive experience across financial reporting, AP/AR/Credit functions, ledgers and reconciliations. In addition, you will have:

  • Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of accounting standards;
  • Passion for delivering quality work and mentorship;
  • The desire to share knowledge and drive continuous improvement;
  • A positive "can-do" mindset, contributing regularly to the wider teams;
  • CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent);
  • The ability to build ongoing relationships with stakeholder groups.
