About the Department for Correctional Services The Department employs approximately 1,900 staff and has responsibility for nine prisons and sixteen Community Correctional offices across the state. DutiesThe Manager, Audit, Risk and Investigations is accountable for providing strategic support and assurance to the Executive Team and key external stakeholders, to support the Office for Correctional Services Review (OCSR) in the delivery of the highest level of safety and security for the South Australian Community, employees and offenders through:

DutiesThe Manager, Audit, Risk and Investigations is accountable for providing strategic support and assurance to the Executive Team and key external stakeholders, to support the Office for Correctional Services Review (OCSR) in the delivery of the highest level of safety and security for the South Australian Community, employees and offenders through:
- Leading Internal Audit activities to ensure adequate risk management strategies are in place and operating efficiently and effectively;
- Providing leadership across all investigations into critical incidents and reporting key findings against policy, procedure, systems and infrastructure to the Chief Executive and Investigations Review Committee;
- Providing leadership across all investigations into alleged staff misconduct;
- Working with the Independent Commissioner Against Corruption (ICAC), Ombudsman SA and SAPOL in relation to allegations of criminal or corrupt behaviour, serious misconduct or maladministration involving employees of the Department;
- Leading stakeholder relationships;
- Driving the Department values of ethical behaviours, integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
- The incumbent is required to satisfactorily complete a National Criminal History Check;
- A current South Australian Driver's Licence is essential;
- A flexible approach to working hours is required;
- Some out of hours work may be required;
- Some interstate and intrastate travel will be required which may necessitate overnight absences.
- This position is deemed a designated position pursuant to SOP 105 Conflict of Interest.

- Recognised tertiary qualification in Business, Accounting or related discipline or other qualification from a recognised University; and
- Certificate IV in Government (Investigations) or equivalent (Detective Training Course and Detective Designation).
