We have a great new job in, working with a client of ours who are based just outside Hertford.

They are a marketing and communications agency, working on some exciting projects with 5-star clients. It is a dynamic and vibrant place to work, with a great team in place.

They are looking for an experience Finance Assistant who is passionate about customer service. You will be able to work independently or as part of a team and also liaise with other departments within the company.

The day to day tasks will include:

  • sales invoicing
  • purchase ledger
  • credit control
  • bank and credit card reconciliation
  • banking
  • an accounts package - Quickbooks would be an advantage
  • customer focused
  • possess excellent communication skills
  • able to effectively manage time and multi task
  • able to work on own initiative with accuracy and attention to detail
  • good Excel and MS Word skills
  • The hours are 16 hours per week over 4 or 5 days, and the client is able to be flexible. There is no opportunity to work term times only with this role. You will also need to be flexible to extend your hours to cover for other members of the team when needed, but you'd be given plenty of notice for this!

    The salary is £18,000 to £20,000 pro rata. This equates to an hourly rate of £8.88 to £9.86.
