Management Accountant

The Management Accountant Role

As our Management Accountant you will lead a team of Management Accounts Assistants, assisting with the preparation of group monthly management accounts, the yearly statutory financial statement, balance sheet reconciliations and treasury reporting.

Responsibilities of our Management Accountant

- Leading and coaching management accounts assistants

- Preparing group daily cash reports for submission to senior management

- Assisting with daily, monthly and quarterly cash management and forecast

- Preparing and reviewing the overhead annual budget

- Preparing and reviewing overhead actual costs and forecasts

- Assisting with month- end close and preparation of the board and accounts pack

- Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations

- Coordinating the monthly balance sheet reconciliations process

- Assisting with computation and submission of quarterly VAT returns

- Assisting with the interim and year end group audit

What we're looking for in our Management Accountant

We are looking for candidates with previous experience in a Management Accountant role. You will be newly qualified in ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent. In addition, it is important that you have experience in leading a team and you have good communication skills and the ability to work to your own initiative. Previous experience using Oracle would be beneficial.
