Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a small business based in the Castleford area of Wakefield.

The role will report directly into the Finance Manager and will cover most areas of transactional finance.

Duties and Responsibilities are to include but not exclusive to:

*Management of the Sales and Purchase ledger
*Dispatching of outgoing invoices
*Conducting Credit Control duties
*Contacting clients ensuring outstanding debt is chased regularly
*Assisting with VAT returns
*Performing Bank Reconciliations when needed
*Any other addition ad-hoc duties with the finance division

Elevation would be keen to speak to candidates with the following skills and experience:

*Previous experience working with a similar finance role is essential
*You will have excellent organisation and time management skills
*You will be comfortable in managing your own workload effectively
*Hold high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
*Have a good understanding of Microsoft Office software and strong general IT skills
*Be self-motivated and be comfortable in working to deadlines
