An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Unilever are currently seeking a Performance Finance Analyst with some business partnering experience. The role will be based at Unilever Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 10-15 months, full time, paying to £37,000 per annum pro rata or up to £184 per day for ltd contractors

The Performance Finance Analyst will be a core pillar for Unilever Finance in leading performance management agenda and responsible for driving performance management, business as usual partnering and financial planning and analysis.

Key Accountabilities
1.Performance Management:
2.Preparation of annual plan for the service line
3.Driving performance management against targets, zero based budgeting and connected for growth targets
4.Maintaining risk and opportunities
5.Management of budget transfer process
6.Cost alignment with finance teams on new scope budgets
8.Drive monthly performance management of actuals with VP and leadership teams
9.Drive use of standardised reports
10.Challenge all key variances to forecast performance
11.Ensure finance projects are reported correctly
12.Management of gap closing activity
13.Highlight opportunities for cost localisation
14.Review overall functional savings from the project accounting team.

Experience required:
1. ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualifications preferred
2. Ability to hold people accountability, high level of responsibility, strong leadership skill, have a bias for action and growth mind set.
3. Strong analytical skills, Excel modelling skills and attention to detail (data accuracy and identification of errors)
4. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
5. Ability to work fluidly with data and across systems
6. Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders and strong communication and influencing skills
7. Experience in managing a large and complex set of stakeholders
8. Strong team leadership skills (applicable to roles with direct reports)
9. Experience in Decision Support - business cases, financial rigour, governance
10. Experience in holding others accountable (particularly peers and senior leadership)
