Job title: Finance Business Partner - Custodial
Base location: Doncaster & Lowdham sites, and working from home
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 + Bonus (10-20%) + Car/car allowance (£4,200) + comprehensive benefits package

In this role within Serco's Justice & Immigration Finance team, you will act as a trusted point of contact for Serco's business leaders, to support profitable and sustainable growth of Serco's services.
As key member of the team, it will be your responsibility to understand Serco's strategic priorities, as well as those of our customers, in order to provide commercial and financial decision support. You will transform financial and non-financial information into insights, which influence decision making to improve financial performance of Serco services.
To improve shareholder value, you will support Serco to win good business. You will work with a portfolio of contracts/services to challenge assumptions, influence decisions, and make recommendations for efficiency improvements to sustain growth.

What you'll need to do the role
To be considered for this role it is essential that you are a qualified accountant to ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent level, or that you would be qualified by experience.
The successful applicant will be commercially minded and customer focused. You must have demonstrable experience of business partnering key skills, having collaborated with business leaders (including those with non-financial backgrounds and at senior levels) within a complex business environment. You must be able to evidence the ability to influence, negotiate, listen to, and resolve conflicts with key decision makers.
A key requirement for this role is experience of adding value in a commercially orientated bidding and contracting environment, with experience of understanding relationships between key financial and non-financial business value drivers.
You must be able to interpret and deal with incomplete data, and have the capability to exercise judgement where there is ambiguity. You must be able to highlight problems, offer innovative and practical solutions, and drive through their execution.
