Buyer Assistant
£18k- 20k per annum
Our client is looking for an Buying Assistant to join their rapidly growing family based organisation.
Responsibilities:
• Taking instruction from the Buying Co-ordinator and Buyers on administrative tasks and completing them in agreed timeframes.
• Working with our European and Far Eastern suppliers in a professional manner to complete relevant tasks.
• Creating new products on the system MNP, and ensuring they have full and accurate specifications in line with the order PI and the pre-production sample.
• Being responsible for admin relating to orders once they have been placed. This includes checking PIs, creating POs and sending them to the relevant parties.
• Assisting the Buying Co-ordinator with the creation and supply of packaging and instructions.
• Assisting the Buying Co-ordinator with product training for the rest of the business on all new products.
• Assisting the Buying Co-ordinator with managing samples through all stages of the new product process.
• Helping with ad hoc work to support the rest of the team.
Skills
• You will have a diligent approach to work
• Good attention to detail
• Organized work manner
• Proactive with the ability to liaise between departments
• Computer Literate
• Previous Office Experience working within a team.
• Capacity to adhere to adhoc duties where appropriate
• Previous procurement environment experience desireable
Offering a competitive salary £18k-20k dependant on experience.
