Your new role
The Financial Controller role is number 2 to the FD and works alongside the Head of FP&A. The FC role is focused on all aspects of financial accounts and reporting. Managing two direct reports (team of c15 in total) including Credit Control, AP etc, you will be responsible for all aspects of statutory accounts reporting, treasury and cash management, group audit and staff development.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a track record of managing the finances of a complex entity. You will have experience of managing the various stakeholders as well as a good sized team. You will be a strong technical accountant and also have the ability to deputise for the FD. Exposure to a not-for-profit entity is preferable but not essential.
