Description

This leading North Devon firm of chartered accountants which has undergone impressive growth, through a combination of organic growth and successful acquisition, is searching for a managerial tax professional to join the business, in a career enhancing opportunity for the right individual, as Tax Manager / Senior Manager.
You will play a key role in furthering the development of the tax department, through managing a quality service to a varied portfolio of wide ranging private client and OMB and SME corporate clients, in a mixed tax capacity. You will also play an important role working closely with Tax Directors, leading and delivering on a wide range of planning and tax advisory projects, across areas such as, inheritance tax planning, capital gains tax advice and other projects. You will carve a key role in this growing firm and have a clear path to progress and develop in your tax career.

Profile

You will be any of ACA/ACCA/CTA/ATT qualified, with a background in accountancy practice and good technical knowledge of tax compliance and planning across both personal and corporate tax areas, with significant demonstrable advisory experience across areas such as CGT, IHT etc. You will be at Tax Manager / Senior Manager level or thereabouts. Any experience on landed estates, associated rural related sectors, farming etc, would be helpful, but not a necessity. Job Offer

A range from £35,000 - circa £50,000 or more, dependent on experience and background, negotiable, with the position to be moulded to some degree around the right individuals background and motivations.
