Glasgow Caledonian University is a vibrant, multi-cultural and modern university in the centre of Glasgow, and is placed amongst the top 70 universities globally (THE Impact rankings, 2021). Our welcoming community of 20,000 students, from more than 100 countries, enjoy a wide range of award-winning support services and state of the art facilities across each of our campuses in Glasgow, London and New York. Our University mission - with its commitment to the Common Good and core values of integrity, creativity, responsibility and confidence - is integral to everything we do.
The Department of Finance, Accounting and Risk at Glasgow Caledonian University, based in the Glasgow School for Business and Society, is seeking tutors to teach on our ACCA part-time evening programme and our new MSc Professional Accountancy (ACCA Route), teaching the strategic professional ACCA papers.
We are specifically looking for people to teach Strategic Business Leader (SBL), Strategic Business Reporting (SBR), Advanced Financial Management (AFM) and Advanced Performance Management (APM).
As such, the successful applicant will work as part of programme team and be expected to teach and manage their own module(s), whilst being supported by the programme lead. Teaching will take place face to face and online, and working hours can be flexible.
Applicants must possess relevant qualifications in the subject area, and have demonstrated experience of teaching to the wider academic or professional community. Significant industry experience would be looked upon favourably and the post could suit an individual with an extensive industry background able to demonstrate the potential for excellent teaching.
