Our client, a large NSW government organisation, is seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Business Analyst.The Senior IT BA will need to come into the organisation, and help to deliver a Budget Automation and Workforce Management tool. This will require:
- Develop a consolidate set of requirements for the new system: Gather, document and analyse varying stages of business requirements, translate them into functional specifications for approval by project sponsor/stakeholders,
- This will require working with existing requirements that have been gathered, understanding them, look for gaps and similarities.
- Work with the Solution Architect to put together options for a solution.
- Drives digital based solutions and prototypes across both business and IT driven initiatives and capabilities and provides technical leadership and subject matter expertise when defining, developing and executing customer-facing digital solutions.
- Manage the review and analysis of the organisation u2019s business intentions, services, processes and information needs to identify changes that lead to business improvements.
Selection Criteria:
- Extensive experience as a Senior IT BA within an enterprise environment, and experience delivering BA work on Finance Systems.
- Data Analysis experience: Find out where the data is, what type of data is it, how would to map that data between the existing systems.
- Strong business facing stakeholder skills (presenting to stakeholders, vendor management, workshops, and requirements elicitation)
- Experience delivering enterprise / corporate applications.
