Job Description
Audit Director I am currently working with a leadingmulti award winning Central London based firm that is looking to hire an Audit Director who will be fast tracked to Partner due to growth of the firm.
This new role has come about because during the first 12 months of the pandemic they grew by 10% and this growth has only accelerated more recently. The firm have ambitious plans to continue this growth over the next few years which is why they are looking to hire a Director now who can be fast tracked to Partner.
You will be working with an excellent client base that includes tech and media clients. The firm are also one of the leading firms when it comes stock market clients and have clients listed with the London Stock Exchange, Official List, AIM, NEX and other European markets.
Responsibilities Acting as RI in respect of a portfolio of private clients (eventually to include some listed companies) Acting as 2nd partner (EQCR) for our listed clients and others that require one, which requires an in depth knowledge of auditing, accounting and ethical
regulations/standards. Ad hoc reporting accountant work in respect of AIM/AQSE/LSE IPOs Development and review of the trainees, including signing off ICAEW records Providingtechnical support to the team and organise internal training Assisting the audit compliance principal with internal audit
documentation/manuals
and assisting the ACP with monitoring visits from ICAEW In due course expansion of the role to act as Ethics partner, Money Laundering Compliance Principal, DPB contact partner
Requirements ACA, ACCA, ICAS or equivalent qualified Have RI status or be able to obtain it Excellent working knowledge of UK accounting standards and IFRS Experience with listed clients would be beneficial
