Page Personnel are working with this FMCG brand to recruit for a interim Cost Management Accountant for a 12 month period. This client is a well known household brand based in Wrexham.

Description

This role will include the following key responsibilities:

  • Agree monthly accruals for labour and burden accounts and post complex journals.
  • Accountable for the on time delivery of accurate financial submissions for the plant and adherence to process throughout.
  • Provide commentary and lead month end review with Plant Finance Manager and coordinate required changes.
  • Responsible for performing detailed root cause analysis on variance vs budget and partnering with plant teams to identify and develop corrective actions, risk mitigation strategies and opportunities.
  • Balance Sheet Risks & Ops schedule.
  • Co-ordinate the annual budget and lead the budget for labour and burden and balance sheet accounts.
  • Providing commentary and insight into variance analysis.
  • Responsible for providing Cash flow and Balance sheet assumptions to GBS team and reviewing impact of key changes.
  • Partner with plant teams to develop costing assumptions for Innovation.
  • Responsible for support and first escalation point for Internal/External audits
  • Working within a cover group to complete Production execution.

Profile

The successful candidate will require the following:

  • Part-Qualified Accountant or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP Finance.
  • Ability to partner across all levels of the organisations and respond to ad hoc queries independently.
  • Good communicator, organised, excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work with confidential information
  • Be available immediately or at short notice.

Job Offer
