The role of a Finance Analyst with Business Intelligence is within an exciting Global Pharmaceuticals Company based in East London.

Our client is a Global Pharmaceuticals Company with the main finance hub based in East London. They are looking to continue the companies growth within an ever-evolving sector and are looking for a new Finance Analyst to join their team.

Description

Within this role -

Support monthly close process through partnership with Accounting as well as the broader FP&A team based in EuropeReview of cost centres balances against budget and analyse discrepanciesPrepare and conduct monthly financial controls meeting with the operational department to discuss variances against budgetComputation of a part of the monthly closing writings ( Stock valuation, Samples stock valuation, Obsolete stock provision, bad debts provision)First review of management accounts - The person needs to be able to read and understand the income statement and balance sheet to identify discrepanciesAnalysis of gross sales to net sales evolutionPreparation of P&Ls per client/rangesPreparation of monthly turnover reportingProvide senior management with insightful analyses to explain trends/variancesIdentify key trends and potential risks and opportunities across the International businessAssist with annual budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting in close collaboration with corporate functional leads in Operations specifically focused on supply chain and logisticsEstablish business relationships across the organisation and be a key FP&A contact for the Operations teamsDevelop and improve upon recurring reporting processes and assist in KPI preparation and analysisContinuously look to increase efficiency through processes automationRun ad-hoc analyses for cross-functional leaders and management in the London office Business Intelligence -

Creating, updating and maintaining dashboards and reports.Perform daily sell-in/sell-out analysis into details (SKU, range, period)Send daily updates on sales performances to all departments.Creating, updating and maintaining dashboards and reports.Researching possible software solutions to increase structure and work efficiency with parallel implementation in the two entities.Training users on developed files and reports.

Profile

As a Successful Finance Analyst, they would have -

Relevant Degree in Finance or a related field.Part Qualified (ATT, CIMA & ACCA)2-3+ years of experience in Finance - Retail, Pharma & FMCGInterest in PowerBi and Business Intelligence software. Must be a proactive and highly organised self-starter, able to work independently and under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.Excellent communication/collaboration skills, particularly the ability to explain complex concepts to non-financial audiences; the role involves building strong relationships across the organisation.

Job Offer

The successful candidate will be paid £38,000 - £42,000 per annum.
